Overnight At The ‘Grandparents’

Grandkids. It seems they are the hot topic whenever my wife and I visit certain friends of ours, who will remain nameless. We smile. We laugh. We nod. We squirm. For you see, we are on the outside looking in as it relates to that evolutionary cycle. At least for now.

But we did get a taste of a grandparent’s life recently when our daughter and her husband had to go out of town on a business trip and asked if we could keep their precious one … a cute, little cairn terrier. Who could say no?
