Open house today in Garner

There’s a new place to gather for business: Trackside, and you’re invited.

Today from noon to 3 p.m., Rush Hour Karting in Garner will host a Business Open House event to introduce its new 600-square-foot, fully enclosed Executive Meeting and Conference Room.

Rush Hour Karting is already known as a European-style go-karting facility and frequent site of team-building events. Its new meeting space, overlooking the track and complete with state-of-the-art electronics and room for 60 guests, expands those capabilities.

Rush Hour Karting“This is a natural extension of our service to the local business community,” said Adam Saad, owner and operator of Rush Hour Karting. “We’ve hosted hundreds of corporate team-building and social events over the years, and now we can host companies’ off-site meetings as well.

“We invite local businesses to come ‘test drive’ our facility.”

The Executive Meeting and Conference Room is both elegant and functional, featuring cherry hardwood floors and wainscoting plus a high-definition projector with 133-inch screen, laptop hookup, wireless mic, high-speed Wi-Fi and conference calling. Catering services are also available on-site.

Today’s open house features complimentary hors d’oeuvres, free go-kart racing and a tour of the facility. Or, if you can’t do lunch today, make plans to attend Rush Hour’s Business After Hours event set for next Thursday, March 25, from 4 to 7 p.m.

RSVP to either event by calling (919) 662-910 or e-mailing info@rushhourkarting.com. Companies are asked to limit their number of attendees to five.
